"The ultimate vampire parody has landed on this side of the Pond, at last. Let the Twi-Bashing commence..."Well, yes, we kinda already knew that vampires sucked...
I mean, apart from the fact that they now glitter under the sun (fang you, Twilight for that one), we have to remember that, not that long ago, a blonde and petite ex-cheerleader used to kick their backsides on a regular basis. And, if that was not bad enough, even when they kept away from Sunnydale, they were still getting their backsides kicked by a girl.
(Of course, with the Slayer not being the Chosen One anymore, they get their sorry backsides kicked on a regular basis by lots of girls now...)
And, most of the times, they're kind of easy to spot as well...
So, yes, nowadays, vampires are, let's face it, the butt of all jokes and, obviously, this movie has taken the easy road by making fun of them... Actually, its writers have chosen an even easier road by mocking Twilight. But, hey, after all, vampires are vampires... even those who glitter.
The Warning
This movie has been rated PG-13 for crude sexual content, comic violence, language and... wait for it... teen partying. (Nothing is more scary and difficult to watch than teen partying, I'm tempted to agree with the censors on that one...)
