Newlyweeds | R | 1h27m
In Theaters: September 18, 2013
This film is, in essence, a dark comedy accompanied with notes of romance. It would be a fantastic choice for those not interested in the sappy and mushy qualities of ordinary love stories. It follows the odd married life of a young couple that confronts the reality that the magic of their romance has faded. They decide that the solution would be to smoke marijuana and find themselves changed completely, but not in the ways that they hoped they would be. While addiction is not funny, this comedy makes it okay to laugh.

The Face of Love | Unrated | Length Unknown
In Theaters: September 20, 2013
Here's another dark comedy based more on psychology than on love or drugs. It follows the life of a woman named Nikki (Annette Bening) whose husband recently passed away. Soon after, she meets an art professor, Tom, (Ed Harris) and falls in love with him. Here's the catch - this new man looks exactly like her late husband. The rest of the film follows her feeble attempts to try to continue her marriage where it left off with this new man while he tries to understand what happened to cause her husband's death. The great Robin Williams co-stars.
