Torrado, who also co-produced, co-wrote and post-produced.

The Synopsis:
In a post-apocalyptic world where food is scarce and danger is high, a new super virus begins to infect the remaining population and threatens to destroy what's left of humankind. As a special forces group transports a young scientist, their last hope for a cure, to her lab against all odds of survival, they encounter zombie-like creatures who are the newest victims of the super virus.
The Trailer:
Starring an international cast including Christian Stamm (Westworld, Malnazidos), Loretta Hope (Barren, Hexagon), Ramón Álvarez (Justice League, Jurassic World) and Tomas Paredes (James Bond, El Cid). And for the action scenes, the team of specialists from films such as Assassin's Creed, Mission: Impossible - Fallout, Rambo 5, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Terminator 6, among others, were used.
Lise Romanoff, CEO/Managing Director of Vision Films shares, "Lethal Virus is such a timely film that brings together an international cast and great effects for a harrowing and gruesome escapade to save humanity."
Writer/Director Daniel Torrado says, "During the filming, the pandemic began and we watched in amazement as the script was transforming into reality before our eyes. During the shooting we also suffered the inclemency of climate change, in the form of unexpected snowfalls and torrential rains, but we decided to use the setbacks to our advantage, adapting the scenes and including snowy sequences of great visual beauty."
The zombie thriller will be available on VOD and cable platforms across the US and Canada, and on DVD. Official Selection of the NIAFFS International Action Film Festival 2021.
37Games is launching its latest zombie-themed strategy game First Refuge: Z in several countries. Unlike other mobile games of its kind, First Refuge: Z creatively combines underground shelter building, zombie hunting mechanics, and strategic war game elements, bringing a breath of fresh air to the genre.
First Refuge: Z is set in a world where humanity has been brought to the edge of extinction by a deadly zombie virus. The desperate actions of the remaining survivors seem futile in the face of treacherous bandits, hordes of zombies, and sinister corporations that roam this wasteland, all contending for supremacy.
In the world of First Refuge: Z, each player can construct and customize a unique underground city. By building rooms of different specialized functions, residents can live safely and happily in their underground shelter. Players can even assign residents to different rooms to do different jobs. Residents in the same room may fall in love with each other, get married, and bear children.
As the senior officer of this underground shelter, players will need to search for and save survivors, recruit formidable heroes, develop the underground city, and fight off deadly zombies as well as other players from over the world. All in all, it's a world full of danger and challenges.

PUBG Mobile and Resident Evil 2 Launch "Zombie: Survive Till Dawn" Gameplay Mode - First Resident Evil Crossover With Mobile Game Launching Around The World
Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation (PUBG Corp.) announced today the launch of a new gameplay mode called "Zombie: Survive till Dawn", a crossover collaboration between PUBG Mobile and Resident Evil 2.
In late 2018 PUBG Mobile announced the cross-branding partnership with Capcom's game Resident Evil 2 at the PUBG MOBILE STAR CHALLENGE 2018 Global Finals. The announcement generated significant interest and culminated in the launch of this new gameplay mode.
The gameplay will feature three days and two nights in one 30-minute round that features 60 players within the usual PUBG Mobile game structure. Players will encounter multiple types of zombies from the Resident Evil series such as Police, Licker and G1 as well as other zombies created by the PUBG Mobile team.
As Survive till Dawn turns from day through dusk and into night time, the zombies become considerably more aggressive and will pose a significant challenge for PUBG Mobile players.
During the day players can defeat zombies from long range and conduct farming.
Dusk preps the players for fighting as zombies become more dangerous and visibility drops.
Night time sees the zombies become enraged and players will have limited PvP engagements due to very low visibility.
The legendary Resident Evil 2 characters G (Stage 1) and Tyrant will also appear through random spawning during night time.
Also, players can win Leon and Claire skin sets, and Ada and Marvin costumes in-game, which are all popular characters in Resident Evil 2.
"Our Resident Evil 2 partnership announcement generated a lot of buzz in the media and among both games' rabid fan bases," said Vincent Wang, General Manager of Global Publishing Center, Tencent. "We're thrilled to launch Survive till Dawn, a new gameplay mode that offers the very best of our two game platforms. The Resident Evil series is iconic among gamers and we anticipate incredible support for this gameplay that pushes players to survive a night of terror."
PUBG Mobile has enjoyed unprecedented success since its launch, exceeding 30 million daily active users and 200 million downloads in just eight months. In 2018, PUBG Mobile took home multiple awards and nominations, just eight months after the game's release. The game earned three awards at the Google Play Awards last month, including "Best Game." It also won the "Mobile Game of the Year" award at the 2018 Golden Joysticks and received nominations from The Game Awards and the App Store.

"ZombieCON" - Still from the movie
It was an amazing ride complete with rocking music, exciting editing, incredible acting and, for the first in a long time, a completely fresh story.
This "Kill Bill" meets "insert any badass Anime" feature film can only be categorized in its own unique genre. Hence, the birth of "ANI-Fi," or "Anime/Film," a genre of film which expertly blends all the staples, characters, arcs and beats of an anime with those of a typical Hollywood film - but in a completely original story/world.
"ZombieCON" does exactly that and with a cinematic style that looks more like a film shot by Roger Deakins than a sub-$100,000 budget indie. This inventive "ANI-Fi" feature changes the game.
"ZombieCON" - Still from the movie
Nominated for Best Director, Best Ensemble and Winner of The Indie Spirit Award with a working copy (incomplete version of the film) at Orlando Film Festival two weekends ago, "ZombieCON" came into L.A. Comic Con and did not disappoint.
Playing to a standing-room-only crowd of Con-goers, some of which had been following the"ZombieCON" team for the last three years and others they met that CON weekend, the room was electric - all leaving with swag bags and a truly one-of-a-kind movie experience.
Completed by a 40-minute Q&A with the director and actors following the screening, some excited fans stayed even longer getting gifted "ZombieCON" signed T-shirts and grabbing selfies with these new stars until building staff had to usher everyone out for closing.
"ZombieCON" - The Panelists
In the end, the inevitable birth of this genre "ANI-Fi" was delivered exactly as it should be: To an excited crowd of cosplayers, comic, pop culture and anime enthusiasts, playing primetime at the celebrated (more than 90,000 attended) Los Angeles Comic Con, complete with friends and fans old and new.

"Suffocating under the daily oppression of LA assholes and closed-minded society, it’s a battle for the cosplaying group of best friends the Rocket’s Rockets just to be able to do what they love.
Squaring off against former best friend turned arch rival Zander (leader of conniving team Zander Rulz) at a small regional con’s masquerade competition, only one group can win the gold…but little known to both groups, the real war is about to begin.
Team rivalries and assholes become child’s play when a fated encounter changes the course of human existence forever.
An oddball mystic and the gift of a mysterious rock set in motion a Zombie apocalypse of anime proportions, and events that will forever change Rocket and the Rocket’s Rockets…
Will the Rocket’s Rockets be able to traverse a crumbling Los Angeles overrun with undead assholes and save Mom?
Cosplay gets too real this 2018."

The original motion picture Soundtrack to the Best Horror Feature New York City International Film Festival, "Face Of Evil" (F.O.E.), is now available on all music platforms, including iTunes, Spotify, Napster, Google Play, Amazon, Tidal, Deezer, Traxsource, iHeartRadio, 7Digital, Medianet, Pandora, Shazam.

⏩ F.O.E. (Face Of Evil) has raised consensus around the country for its very topical issues. The film is about a war vet with PTSD who returns home and sees demons...
"It's about our fears, of epidemics, terrorism, big brother, of each other... It's about a scapegoat in a devious system... What happens in the mind of the executioner during a shooting rampage? Spoiler alert!" says one man band filmmaker Vito Dinatolo.
The cast includes up and coming talents like Jamie Bernadette, Janet Roth, Scott Baxter, Chad Bishop, Bryan Howard, Charmane Star.
"Face Of Evil" (F.O.E.)
More About F.O.E. (Face Of Evil): (Warning! Spoiler Alert!)
Breaking News! War vet with PTSD shoots among the crowd!… Maybe he saw enemies, monsters… It’s about real life. It’s about F.O.E. This is not another shootout zombie flick. It’s about the inner journey of a person on the run from his demons, real or not, from an unknown enemy, who may attack anywhere, anytime. Perhaps it’s the story of a victim, a brainwashed pawn, a scapegoat in a devious system, or perhaps it’s just the story of an unwilling executioner. As fear confuses and deforms reality, Jay meets surreal characters and learns bits of truth on his way to salvation, or perhaps to damnation. The movie touches contemporary issues, like mysterious epidemics, terrorism paranoia, vets PTSD, mass shootings, big brother conspiracy and more. It’s a contemporary tale of realistic madness. Yet, it never loses its focus on entertaining, which is why we watch movies, after all.

"Night of the Living Dead" 50th anniversary - Poster
A half-century ago, the living dead had their night, but for decades the inexorable dread of George A. Romero's "Night of the Living Dead" has been seen only in murky, fuzzy versions.
On Wednesday, October 24, and Thursday, October 25, only, "Night of the Living Dead" returns to nearly 600 movie theatres nationwide in a newly restored and remastered version presented by Fathom Events, Image Ten Inc. and Living Dead Media, in association with Janus Films and the Criterion Collection. "Night of the Living Dead" will play at 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. (local time) both days, presented through Fathom's Digital Broadcast Network (DBN).
⏩ Commemorating its 50th anniversary, "Night of the Living Dead" will be accompanied by a new behind-the-scenes look at the making of this iconic film.
Tickets for "Night of the Living Dead" are available beginning today at FathomEvents.com and participating theater box offices. A complete list of theater locations can be found on the Fathom Events website (theaters and participants are subject to change).
Prior to his death in 2017, Romero supervised the restoration of "Night of the Living Dead" in anticipation of the film's 50th anniversary. He worked with the film's sound engineer, Gary Streiner, to restore and remaster the movie in 4K Ultra HD from the original camera negative. The Museum of Modern Art, The Film Foundation, The George Lucas Family Foundation, and The Celeste Bartos Film Preservation Center supported the restoration project.
The film tells the deceptively simple story of a group of strangers trapped in a farmhouse and find themselves fending off a horde of recently dead flesh-eating ghouls. Romero's claustrophobic vision of a late-1960s America literally tearing itself apart rewrote the rules of the horror genre, combining gruesome gore with acute social commentary, while quietly breaking ground by casting an African-American actor (Duane Jones) in its leading role.
Named one of the 10 best horror films of all time by Rolling Stone, "Night of the Living Dead" continues to influence pop culture and remains loved by films and critics alike: The film holds a 97 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
"There are not many films that warrant the kind of attention 'Night of the Living Dead' has received from the Museum of Modern Art, but there are also not many films whose influence remains so strong in global popular culture 50 years after it was made. George A. Romero's film has never looked better, and we are proud to present this dazzling new restoration to film lovers and horror fans," said Fathom Events VP of Studio Relations Tom Lucas.
Steve Wolsh, CEO of Living Dead Media, added, "It's been a two-year labor of love to bring this stunning version of 'Night of the Living Dead' into theaters for the 50th anniversary. This movie was intended to be seen in a dark theater with a live audience, and this restoration gives fans and newcomers alike a chance to see the film as they've never seen it before."
Living Dead Media is an independent media company operating in Los Angeles, bringing the "Living Dead" to life across the media landscape in 2018 and beyond.
Living Dead Media's projects include partnering with Image Ten Productions and Janus Films in the 2018 worldwide release of the remastered "Night of the Living Dead" (1968), the upcoming first-ever "George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead" mobile gaming app, and the original film's never-produced sequel, to be released as "Night of the Living Dead Part II" (2019). In addition, Living Dead Media is rolling out a truly masterful "Night of the Living Dead" Ultimate Fan Collector's Box Set through a partnership with FYE stores.
"The Walking Dead" ((C) AMC Network Entertainment LLC. All Rights Reserved)
Based on a comic book series by the same name, The Walking Dead is one of today's most popular TV shows. The post-apocalyptic zombie horror follows sheriff's deputy Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) who navigates the world with the team of survivors that he leads. They're not only challenged with surviving the zombies, referred to as "walkers", but also other survivor groups who oppose them. Oftentimes, these opposing survivor groups prove to be more lethal than the walkers, resulting in Rick and his survivor groups to turn to any means necessary to ensure their safety and survival.
⏩ Since its premiere in 2010, the series has had one of the largest viewership of modern day TV shows and has received extremely positive reviews from fans and critics. It has also been nominated for several awards including the Golden Globe for Best Television Series and Best New Series from the Writers Guild of America.
Marking from the season 8 mid-season premiere, there has been a death toll of over 250 characters across the span of the show. These include both side characters and supporting characters. It could be a lot to keep up with, especially for those who might just be getting into the show.
Here's a quick list of the important characters that are left walking and those that are dead for the mid-season of season 8:
➧ Who's Walking?
1. Rick Grimes - It's hard to imagine The Walking Dead without its main lead character and everybody' favorite deputy, Rick. He's survived a lot including being stabbed and shot, proving that he's definitely a tough one to take down.
2. Daryl Dixon- This archer and tracker is a definite fan favorite. His death would mean chaos in The Walking Dead community and for good reason too. Daryl has survived many dangerous situations and fans hope he keeps doing so.
3. Morgan Jones- Morgan, who reappeared in season 3, joined the survivors in the fifth season. The last known survivor of the Jones family, this former soldier proved to be a helpful ally and friend to both Rick and Daryl.
4. Carol Peletier - Also the last surviving member of her family, Carol has grown from a housewife to a killer weapon-wielding survivor. A very close ally of Daryl and advisor of Rick, Carol's strength and survival instincts help keep her and people around her alive.
5. Maggie Rhee- Hershel's only daughter Maggie and widow of Glenn, Maggie has risen to become one of the strongest leaders in The Walking Dead. She is currently the leader of the Hilltop Colony and co-leads the Militia along with Rick, Ezekiel, and Cyndie.
6. Michonne - Sword-wielding fighter Michonne has become Rick's right-hand woman. After the death of her boyfriend and toddler, Michonne has proven to be a valuable ally who won't go down without a fight.
Other side characters still alive and kicking include Tara Chambler, Eugene Porter, Rosita, Gabriel Stokes, Aaron, Jesus, Enid, Dwight and King Ezekiel. Opposing Rick's group, Gregory, Simon, Jadis, and Negan are still kicking as well.
While the death count of The Walking Deadis astronomical for any TV show, here are some of the most recent and central deaths in the show from mid-season 8. For those who have not yet caught up with the mid-season finale, this is a huge spoiler warning.
1. Morales - It was revealed he former member of Rick's group was taken in by the Saviors and converted into one of them when he holds Rick at gunpoint in season 8's second episode. Unfortunately, he finds his death at the hands of Daryl's crossbow.
2. Eric Raleigh- In a heartbreaking death during the attack on the Saviors, Aaron's boyfriend found himself shot in the abdomen. Sadly, Aaron was unable to save him, making Eric one of the earliest deaths in season 8.
3. The Saviors - The losses on the Saviors' side were heavy this season, being the target of the walkers, Alexandria, Hilltop, and the Kingdom. While not wiped out, a good number of them have definitely been killed.
4. Gunther - Killed by Jerry's Ax, Gunther was eventually executed while trying to bring Ezekiel back to the Sanctuary.
5. Shiva - Loyal pet to Ezekiel, Shiva proved her loyalty by protecting the King from a horde of walkers. Unfortunately, the tiger failed to escape them.
6. Carl -Arguably one of the most shocking and important deaths of not only season 8, but of the series as a whole, the death of Rick's son shook the entire Walking Dead fan base. Carl, who fans have watched since the series premiere, has been a mainstay until he was bitten by a walker in the eighth season.
